The first Dolphinarium in Romania and the South East Europe
The Constanta Dolphinarium began its activity in 1972. At that time it was the first aqua museum in Romania as well as in the South East Europe. In addition to the dolphinarium the facility includes an aquarium which hosts fish from the Black Sea and the Danube Delta. It houses dolphins from the Phocaena relicta and the Delphinus delphis ponticus species as well as seals from the South Atlantic. The Dolphinarium hosts magnificent shows and exhibitions which take place at the in-house amphitheater with a pool.
